Green House welcomes new board chair, members
Holleran, the founder and CEO of the elder care-focused consumer research firm Holleran Consulting, has served on GHP’s board since 2019.
GHP’s board welcomed Marvell Adams, Jr., chief operating officer of non-profit senior living provider The Kendal Corporation, and Danny O’Brien, founder and CEO of Avila Home Care and a 13-year veteran of Erickson Living.
“These changes to our board strengthen our position as we look to build on the momentum for real change in long-term care after the devastation of COVID-19,” Susan Ryan, GHP’s senior director, said. “Above all else, the COVID-19 pandemic has taught us that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to the problems in eldercare. We envision a future where every elder can receive high-quality care in the setting of their choice.”
Holleran succeeds Steve McAlilly, who will remain on the board in the role of past chair.
“I also thank Steve McAlilly for his service as board chair,” Ryan said. “He is a true champion of the Green House model, and we will continue to rely on his input and perspective as past chair in the years ahead.”
Join us in congratulating Michele, Marvell, and Danny! Be sure to check out this week’s episode of “Elevate Eldercare” for a one-on-one interview with Marvell about his experiences in the industry — as well as his vision for fostering true diversity in an eldercare sector that has historically lacked it, particularly among executive leadership.
